freedom | life | love | peace | joy

freedom life love peace joy

Believe: To accept as true or real, To credit with veracity,To expect or suppose.

Accepting as true and real, crediting with veracity and expecting and supposing the above does not bring them about.

The above are realities born from a relationship with Christ (who is all the above) as my life...Not from believing that Christ is my life. Not from believing that I am free. Not from believing that I am unconditionally loved and accepted. Not from belieivng that Christ came to give me peace. Not from believing that God wants me to experience joy in the midst of whatever circumstances.

Those attributes above exist for us when Christ produces them through our being in relationship (abiding) with/in Him...not through belief.

You can believe with all your heart and mind that Jesus loves and accepts you...but until you receive that love and acceptance through relationship with Him as your life...well...it's just a belief...not reality. You might die for what you believe...but it's a faith rather than reality...faith in your belief.

Believing my wife is this or that does nothing for me...experiencing those things through relationship with my wife is where it's at.

Christ isn't a belief system.

the physics of love

We can only give what we have received.

We can only love perfectly in as much as we have received perfect love (i.e. you can't give what you haven't received).

If we haven't received love in an area of our lives (i.e. unconditional acceptance of our attitudes, behavior and looks), we cannot unconditionally accept others in that area.

If we don't abide in God's unconditional love and acceptance of our attitudes, behavior and looks we cannot bear (not produce) the fruit of unconditional love and acceptance.

abiding (receiving) IS doing

Perfect love

If everyone loved perfectly what would change in the world? What would cease to exist because it wouldn't be needed?

Governments - if loved governed, why would we need man to as well?

Borders, Countries or any other diving lines - We wouldn't need to separate ourselves from anyone because we'd all get along.

Military - we certainly wouldn't need to battle anyone.

Police - we certainly wouldn't need anyone to protect and serve...cause we'd all be protecting and serving one another.

Money - everyone would give to whoever needed and would receive when they needed.

Hospitals, mental institutions & doctors - Doesn't it make sense that disease, accidents and any type of ailment, even death is caused by our selfish desires (ie pride..the opposite of perfect love)? So imperfection would cease to exist and along with it, disease, ailments and death.
Nursing homes - We'd take the elderly into our homes and care for them.

Every system of control instituted by man since the beginning of time wouldn't be needed. Everyone's behavior and attitudes would be controlled by love...like Paul said, "Christ love compells me".

Does perfect love exist in the kingdom of God?

Yes.

Where does the kingdom of God exist?

Within you.

Does perfect love exist within you?

Yes.

Does perfect love exist within everyone?

Yes.

more to come...
