All by itself

Mark 4:26...“This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground. 27Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. 28All by itself the soil produces grain
.
Here in the western world we believe nothing happens unless "you" make it happen.
.
We believe we make things grow through our ingenuity, effort or even our obedience.
.
The eastern world believes in the collective effort; that "together" we'll make things grow.
.
What do you believe?

I believe that the concepts of Eastern and Western philosophy are simply means to isolate a set of people. Everyone has a journey to seek out thier higher self. There is however no instruction manual, no set of do's and dont's...only the perspective of the individual.

What motivates us/you to journey toward the higher self?

Your answer will lead you..."not" towards a set of do's and don'ts but toward a way of living...a life.

Perspective is shaped by our experiences. Does truth exist outside our experience of it?
